The Heyday logo first appeared in the margins of British exercise books around 1998. Most scholars agree it evolved within the same playground ecosystem as the Superman 'S', though its softer curves suggest a rebellion against rigid symmetry and straight lines. The modern form is thought to have emerged only after somebody discovered how ridiculously satisfying it was to draw with a juicy fresh felt tip before the nib went fluffy.
