The Heyday logo first surfaced in a Hotmail chain email around 2001. The message claimed that your "heydays are over" and that failing to forward it to ten friends within twenty-four hours would result in "profoundly average luck" for the rest of the week. The curse was never conclusively proven, though a number of recipients later described an unusually average week.
